Charlotte played soccer at East Carolina University, where she graduated from the Honors College with a major in sports management. Named team captain and an all-state selection during her junior and senior years of high school.

Chelsea was a high-impact player at the club level in Canada, and was also a member of both the Ontario Provincial, and Canadian National programs for 4 years.
